Short-term calm conditions with rising temperatures, followed by a potential cool-down, and long-term high temperatures with a slight chance of precipitation and decreasing temperatures toward month-end.

Short Term

There will be calm conditions through out the rest of the week. Temperatures will be on the rise through out the week as well. These temperatures will remain high until about sometime next week. We will then see some lower temperatures. For the rest of the week expect highs just above 100*F and lows just around 70*F. Winds will be slightly breezy with 5-10MPH winds coming from the north to northwest. These winds will stick around for a couple of days before calming down once again.

Long Term

As an upper-level Pacific ridge heads eastward through this weekend, it will bring high temperatures through out the region. Models are currently showing a low just off of Baja California that may move inland and bring lower temperatures to the area. However with this low pressure system there is a 10% chance of any precipitation hitting the area resulting in this low pressure system. So far models are predicting that as we get near the end of October, temperatures should decrease on schedule.
